Dr. Alex Kashef is passionate and excited to be a part of your health care.  He has been living in Marin County for over 10 years and is an established member of the community, both through his family and his oral surgery practice.  Once he graduated from the prestigious UCSF Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program, he moved to Marin to establish a premier practice where patients would not only be treated as family but would also have access to the highest level of treatment possible. Each patient is served with an exceptional quality of care, communication, concern and attention to detail with a doctor that is easy to talk to about your needs.  Dr. Alex believes that the cornerstone of good health care is having a relationship where he and his patients communicate together with an equal level of understanding.

“It is important to live life with a passion, a single center to direct and focus why we are here on this earth, and what we can do to contribute to the people around us and our community.”

Dr. Alex, since he could remember, has always been passionate about helping anyone in need.  He started his journey early, in 7th grade, taking the 5:30am train from San Jose to UC-Berkeley to take anatomy classes.  He soon graduated from UC-Santa Barbara with Highest Honors in both Biology and History of Art. Pursuing his appreciation for Art History, Dr. Alex lived in Florence to continue his studies. Soon thereafter, he attended and graduated 1st in his class at the USC School of Dentistry.  He was then accepted at UCSF in their Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program where he completed a 7 year residency program and during his residency he earned a Medical Degree from UC-Davis.

While at UCSF, Dr. Kashef completed extensive adult and pediatric oral surgery training at world renowned centers like UCSF, UC-Davis Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital, and the San Francisco VA.  Amid his residency, he trained with the UC-Davis Department of Anesthesia at a second year resident level, completing over 1,000 general anesthesia adult and pediatric cases.  Attending such a world renowned program allowed Dr. Kashef to complete his training at the highest level, making it possible for him to fulfill his dream by giving back and providing his patients with the best and most current care.
